Marta began her career at the Spanish Aviation Safety Agency (AESA), where for six years she handled the continuing oversight of three European flag carriers. Her experience managing inspections, sanctioning proceedings and corrective action plans gave her deep operational insight into what regulatory compliance looks like from the authority's side.
In 2020 she moved to the operator side, first as in-house Compliance Officer at a regional airline and later as a specialist consultant. Today she leads Legalair's Compliance & SMS practice, implementing bespoke programmes that combine regulatory rigour with operational efficiency.
She is a regular speaker at Just Culture Working Group events and a certified SMS trainer for operators and MROs. Her approach combines the authority's perspective with client sensitivity, allowing her to anticipate tensions before they escalate into sanctioning proceedings.
